Canyon View Cabin

The Canyon View Cabin perches on the rim of Dolores Canyon offering unsurpassed views of western Colorado.  It serves as an “off the grid” hunting cabin and weekend retreat for its owner.  It incorporates passive solar gain in the design, and uses locally sourced materials, helping this quaint hunting cabin be as “Green” as possible. 

Project Highlights

The cabin was designed with the intention that it would be unoccupied for long stretches of time. Due to special details of its unique design, while nestled deep in the woods, it has maintained it’s integrity for over 20 years
